Pomona, CA– Music sensation and Disney TV Star, Shane Harper, fired up the crowd as he performed live at the Los Angeles County Fair September 1 as an opener for Carly Rae Jepsen.
Harper sung his hit new song, “Dancin in the Rain”, off of his new Extended Play (EP) Album that was recently released on August 14 and got the crowd dancing on their feet.

“It’s a fun-loving song! I grew up on old time musicals like “Singing in the Rain” and I wanted to share that excitement with the audience,” said Harper.

According to online reports, Harper is a “Quadruple Threat” in the entertainment business because he is such a well-developed singer, dancer, actor, and songwriter at a very young age.

“Shane Harper is a rising talent who continues to evolve with each new project,” according to online wires and reports.

Harper was discovered in his early teen years off of Myspace by Executive Music Producer of Deep Well Records Adam Anders.

Anders mentored Harper and helped him put out his self-titled debut album in stores earlier this year.

“It’s so incredible to record an album under the direction of someone I respect and who is so extremely talented—his musical genius is very much appreciated in helping me put forth my debut album,” said Harper, according to online wires and reports.

Harper has come a long way from dancing at the age of 9 and competing in amateur competitions.

At the age of 14, Harper began working in the entertainment business and appeared on dance shows such as Nickolodeon’s “Dance on Sunset”, “So you think you can dance?” and “High School Musical 2”.

As Harper advanced further into his career, he picked up acting and landed roles on sitcoms such as “Good Luck Charlie”, “Wizards of Waverly Place”, “Zoey 101”, and other films such as “My Name is Kahn “ and “Flipped”.

According to online reports, his grounded perspective on his gaining success is attributed to his supportive parents and family.

“I would not have gotten to this point without the love and support of my family,” said Harper. “If they didn’t believe in me and push my talents, I don’t know where I would be,” he added.
With the encouragement and support of his family and friends, Harper followed his dream and has achieved the “Quadruple Threat” success he has now.
For people that are interested in going into the entertainment industry, Harper would suggest they go to competitions or events that show case their talents.

He also suggested this advice for people interested in going into entertainment, “It’s a crazy business. Make sure that you love what you’re doing, because you won’t last if you are doing it for the money.”

As a growing star, Harper is constantly looking for new roles to audition for and new ideas to inspire him to write new songs.

With the combination of Harper’s new EP and his upcoming tours, it is predicted by online reports that Harper is sure to be a household name by the year 2013.
